So I’ve been really bad about blogging…
but heres a little project I did over the weekend.
I picked up the Latt table and chairs from Ikea, seriously it’s $20… you can’t beat that.
Cute but pretty boring.
After seeing the idea on Pinterest I decided to turn it into a chalkboard table. Here’s what I used.
Rustoleum Chalkboard Spray Paint
Rustoleum Lacquer Spray paint in white
Martha Stewart Craft Paint in Gold
Triangle Stencil found at Michaels
I was originally going to use gold spray paint but I found the craft paint was easier to work with since I wouldn’t have to mask much. Love Martha Stewart gold! I could use this everywhere.
The possibilities are endless with this set, it’s so inexpensive that you can really make it completely custom for your little one.
BTW the table & chairs are majority bare wood so you’ll need to sand and prime.
Anyway, after about a week of working on it during nap times I ended up with this.
If I could dip everything in gold I think I would.
I’m pretty much obsessed with how it turned out.
The busy (zo)bee working on her latest masterpiece : )
